Mission Statement
The mission of the National Property Tax Group is to provide a network of regionally specialized property tax consulting firms whose individual knowledge, resources and expertise provide member firms clients with superior service.
The National Property Tax Group, Inc. is a nonprofit trade association of property tax consultants located throughout the United States. NAPTAG works to enhance and improve the property tax business climate for its member firms by establishing a national identity through the promotion of property tax services to the general public as well as educating and apprising member firms of emerging property tax issues.
The Organization
The National Property Tax Group was founded in 1992. The Articles of Incorporation were filed in the state of Texas; however, the initial directors resided in the states of Washington, Illinois, New Jersey, Georgia, and Texas. There are member firms representing clients in all 50 states and Canada in matters regarding real and personal property taxation.
Services
NAPTAG was initially formed to compete with the large accounting firms and other multi-office property tax companies. The association provides a network of regionally specialized property tax firms whose knowledge and expertise make the members firms superior to the national property tax consulting firms. Incentives exist for member firms to benefit from recruiting business outside of their service region. Members work directly with one another to refer business and share revenue.
